Hi all, this may be a LOT off topic for either of these
forums, but I am a bit desperate for answers!! So if anyone can help, please
advise......I can't seem to find the right info online.
A month or so ago, a stray kitten came here and we have taken
it in. A couple of weeks ago, it got a wolf worm behind it's ear. We
successfully removed the worm and treated the site with a vet prescription
topical ointment (anti-bacterial) The place seemed to be healing well. However,
tonight, it was swollen and my daughter removed the scab and we got some minimal
infection out. The amount of infection does not seem to correspond with the
amount of swelling. I will call the vet tomorrow, but in the mean time, does
anyone have any suggestions on how to best treat the area?
