Hello All,

I am new to the group and have been reading some interesting stuff
that makes me feel like I am NOT alone!! :)

I had a long hair chi, he was the GREATEST little man ever . . loved
everyone and everything. He passed away some time ago, and recently I
got another chi. He is almost 7 months old, blue merle short hair,
neutered, up to date on shots and I got him from a breeder last week.

When I picked him up from the breeder, he was really hyper and playing
with the other chis. . .so hyper that we couldn't even pick him up.
So I brought him home and he growled and snapped at my husband and my
pug. Needless to say my husband was not thrilled. I convinced him to
give Yoda a few days to adjust, and he has. . . a little. He still
growls at my husband if I am holding him and my husband walks into the
room .. .or at night if he gets up from bed and walks to the bathroom
he growls some more. Yoda and Roxxy (the pug) are doing better as
well .. .just a few jealousy issues.

So my question is. .. do you think Yoda will always growl at my
husband or he will adjust over time? Are there any steps or exersizes
we can do to loosen him up?

Thanks for the help!
