Normally hypoglycemia stops after the chi becomes an adult, but some (especially really small ones) continue with it. It really all depends on whether they are good eaters or not. Fifi is not a great eater so she gets canned food too and that helps a lot b/c she is always willing to eat that! If I were you I'd keep some Nutrical on hand for times like this. And yes, they will sometimes make the "disaster" seem worse to one person than another! It's all about getting babied... lol! ~Lacey
