my Chi is 8 years old. She has ALWAYS done her business outdoors. Even when I went to work, and was gone for ten hours, she would wait for me to come home and take her out.
A couple of weeks ago, I had to go out of state and had to leave my Chi in a boarding place. There, she peed and pooped inside a "run." Now, that I'm back, and she's back home, she pees inside, when I go to work. She used to be such a perfect little dog, never ever went inside. Now, I don't know what to do to get her back to her old self again, of waiting to be taken outside to pee. Mostly, I think she pees when I'm gone to work, out of fear, since she was recently separated from me, and she is afraid it is happening again. I don't think she has forgotten her old housetraining habits, i think she is more anxious than anything else when I go to work, and because she was ancious at the boarding place and was allowed to pee "in the run" , now she is doing it again, because she feels the same feelings as before. Any one have any ideas or suggestions on how to get her back on track, to her normal self again, when she was PERFECTLY housetrained? thanks ------------------------ Yahoo!
