One of my cats was neutered when Katrina was expected to hit the Gulf Coast. I live in Texas. The Vet said they would like to keep Indy over night and I said no. They set me up with a special number to call in case something happened. Plus they gave me the name of the Emergency Vet Clinic just minutes from my house which they highly recommended. I feel exactly as you do.!! Lying to someone one is no way to gain a clients trust especially when they're dealing with a pet that is a member of the family.!! I'd have ripped them a new one.!!!
