Thanks to everyone who sent prayers and good thought for Tiffany. She's home with her family now. Everything went fine. She's a bit woozy and very sleepy but seems ok, overall. She tried to get up once and attempted to walk but looked like she had a few drinks so I picked her up before she fell off the couch and hurt herself.
I can't give her food or water till tomorrow. She hasn't eaten anything since yesterday evening. When her appetite kicks in, she'll be really hungry, I'm guessing!
I'll be staying close by her for the evening/night.
Any thoughts on the value of applying some triple antibiotic ointment to her incision site to help prevent an infection?
