I'm so excited! This evening my little girl Sadie Mae and I will be
leaving to go on our women only beach trip. Sadie loves to play on the
beach & play fetch. And the best part is since it's fall there are no
time regulations on when she can go on the beach. During the summer
she is only allowed to the beach before 6 a.m. and after 5 p.m.
The only problem with taking Sadie on vaca is that she never wants to
eat her dog food! It's like she expects something better. Whenever my
mother dog-sits for me she is the same way. She won't even eat her
favorite treats at my mothers house. It's not that she feels out of
place or anything, because she goes with me to my mom's house atleast
once a week. She loves staying with her grandmother.
So, what should I do about feeding her on vacation? I don't want to
change her food b/c she might get the "runs" and that would not be good
in a beach house with almost white carpets. I've packed her food and
bowl, but I'm wondering if she'll even eat it. Last time she turned
her nose up to it.
Any ideas?
