My advice is to put everything in writing. I got screwed that way.. I had the male. The only thing that saved me is I showed up just before the pups were born and I knew the female was preg. The woman tried to say they never tied. When the deal came through she didn't want to give the pup she owed me. So I would not back up. I had a reciept that I left my dog and what I was suppose to get if their were pups so I went to her minister (the church up here is strict ) and I told them that she is making a very bad name in the name of  the chruch. She was going on and on about her church and I trusted her. Well when I was done they let her know to stop doing dirty business and her husband was angry at me but I wasn't the liar.  So I got 1/2 due to me but I was grateful to get anything . So put everything in detail , even the small stuff even if it sounds dumb. It is all important. JMO after what I went through.
