Neenee, I had the same problem when I first brought Abby home from the shelter in February. I was scared that she was going to attack someone. I enrolled her in "puppy" obedience class at the local PetSmart (even though she was almost 6 years old) it was more for the socialization than the training, that was just a bonus. Now she wants to be petted by everyone and play with every dog she sees! It completely reformed her. I couldn't be happier. Just have patience because it doesn't happen overnight and you will have to work with her. It is definately worth it though!
