Someone else already sent a link for a copy of the chi weight chart, so I wont repost it, but like that person said, it is a guestimate. It has always been almost perfect on my own chis, but it was WAY off on the last pup I purchased. So it is not 100 percent. It is usually more accurate after 8 weeks of age. It does not take genetics into the equation, which plays a big part in a dogs adult size!!

Yes, solid black is rare in a chi. A lot of people would give an arm and a leg for a solid black. You will see a lot of blacks, but they usually have just a little of another color. Solid black is very rare.

You referred to a chart that could predict mature size.
Tootsie is 14 oz. at 11 wks. What should her adult weight be?
