I just had a strange inquiry from someone wanting an all black puppy. Size, sex or age was not important - only that it be all black.
Then, I recalled what my daughter who ran a no kill shelter for the Humane Society told me.She was manager of the shelter for 14 years. Tey could never let any dark colored cat or dog out of the shelter during the weeks preceeding Halloween because this is the time some individuals are looking for them to use in sacrifical rites. I know this is really sick, but unfortunately these are some of the things we must be aware of when placing out our beloved Chis.
