no, not necessarily. There are a lot of legitimate dogs registered with all the different registrations. Unfortunately, there will always be dishonest people who try to ruin it for the rest of us. Just because your dog is not registered with any particular registration group does not mean it isn't full blooded, just as the fact that it is registered does not mean it is full blooded.... The pups LOOK like chis, so I lie and say that my two CKC's are the parents, thus the pups can be registered.....It happens way too much. That is one reason the AKC is starting to require so much DNA testing.
