Is she just throwing up bile (yellow liquid or yellow foam)? When
this happens with chihuahuas in the morning, it is due to excess
acidity in their empty stomach, and is very easily cured by giving
them a late-night or very early-morning snack that will absorb the
acid. A nice organic oatmeal cookie, no raisins, is a good choice.
This is such a common issue that I can't believe a vet is running her
thru antibiotics and what not. If the cookie doesn't do the trick, a
simple ant-acid will. Am I missing some additional info here? Any
breeder knows these some of these dogs have a tendency to bring up
bile, and how to treat it.

By the way, if it is just bringing up bile, antibiotics will make it
WORSE by messing with stomach fauna, and anti-nausea drugs will allow
dangerous acidity to occur in the stomach by diminishing the natural
safety-valve of purging the acidity by throwing it up.

The fact that she's fine the rest of the day supports my (easy) guess
that it's just bile-purging.
