I do my cavaliers nails when they are very sleepy. They don't like their 
nails done at all. For some reason cavaliers don;t like their feet touched. You 
can probe any where else with out a fit but don't touch their feet, LOL. 

If you have a Humane Society near you, check them for spay/neuter. The one 
here charges $67 for spaying.
