You sound like such a good chi-mom!

I should have added to my prior post, I bought a piece of clear plastic 
carpet runner, cut it slightly larger than my pee pads, and put it under the 
pee pads.  That way, if my girls pee on the nonabsorbent edge portion of the 
pee pad and it runs off, or hang their butts off to poop, it won't get on 
the carpet.  This would also be a great way to prevent soak-thru if you use 
newspapers.  Be sure you buy the kind of carpet runner with a very smooth 
top, not the non-skid kind.  Makes wiping it clean MUCH easier.
