They are very smart.  She might like playing "baby
doll" with a sock.  It will have a lot to do with
whether she has ever played tug o'war in the past
and whether she has teeth though she will still
pretend if you are willing to pretend.  Try
knotting a light weight sock (so she understands
it's different than a real useable sock) and throw
it down a hall, if she retrieves it, you have the
beginnings of playtime.

Enjoy her.  I lost one just recently about that
age.  So watch and be grateful for the joy they
bring to you.
