My cat does eat her cat food, but must think the dog food is her treat as well.

"food experts" said the same thing, that there was an oil (gave a fancy name)
that was missing from dog food that was essential to cats and cat's could not
live on dog food or would have all sorts of health problems, but that, while
not nutritionally complete, cat food would not harm a dog...... sighhhhhh I
don't know which is right, but I do know that my cats refuse to eat cat
food....they eat dog food.

My cat insists on eating the dog food. My vet said that was OK but if the dog
ate the cat food that could be deadly. Please watch the little one and not

Shakes can also be from low sugar from not eating. Get him to eat. He may have
eaten something that obstructed his bowels??? What type of food does he eat.
Get him the best you can afford. Also, make sure he isnt chewing something or
eating something that may make him sick

Hi thanks for responding! Yea he was most def hit..by an SUV I dont
know how he survived!?! But I was so HAPPY to get him back! So... he
most def needs Xrays..the vet also said maybe he could have
pancreatitus?? bc she was feeling around on his stomach and he yelped
and she said it was kinda swollen. At first I didnt think that was
it at all. I thought for sure it had to do with the car wreck and his
back leg...but she told me to watch what he ate and if he was
vomiting and had dirarreha. So yesterday I took away the cat food (I
live with my sister and she has a cat..which Zeus loves his food) and
he didnt touch his...and he puked twice this morning. He has had reg
bowl movements..I believe but its hard to know for sure...I have
found nothing in the house. So hes not really eating. But Im sure If
I gave him people food he would eat it right up!?! :) He puked
twice. He seems to be shaking more than usual. He doesnt really
limp at all anymore. ????? Sometimes he seems fine. Sometimes he
seems sick.?
