Oh, once he's outside the leash is on. I don't take him out to potty with the leash on.. just to walk him to the fence. He's got this problem with going number 2 when the leash is on, so in order to get him to do it outside I can't be around him lol.. he's alittle princess. I'm VERY cautious about his neck, like I said I've had a very serious situation happen with the last dog we owned, and I tend to baby Chaz quite a bit because of it, so I'm really phobic about other people AND other dogs being around him. So if I don't do it, or I don't approve it, it doesn't get done. In general, I'd be safe to say he trusts me, and that's a nice feeling.. so if something ends up scaring him enough he always cowers between my legs lol. But I understand what you mean, definitely.
