I would definitely put a harness on my children. Be it nasty comments or not,
at least I know where my child is at all times. The one thing that's most
annoying in public is people who let their children run rampid and ruin
everyone else's good time.

I always used harnesses on my girls when they were little. I wish they made
them for teenagers!! I had lots of comments made, but it is better to be safe
than sorry. There are too many possibilities that make a situation go wrong,
and didn’t want to take my chances. Children and animals are truly the world’s
greatest treasures! – em J

I used to use the velcro wrist restraints that attached Mom to child when we
went to the mall or like Cedar Point. I had 5 kids and it kept the youngest
close when dealing with the others. I heard many nasty comments on how they
were not dogs. But, you lovingly need to keep control of your babies whether
puppy or kiddie. I always felt this was the best way to keep my kids in line.
The dogs learn to stay when told. LOL Karen--- In [email protected],

toddlers and doggies". It just seems safer to harness than have a restriction
around the neck for the doggies. And for the human toddlers - its safer knowing
where they are at all times, one little slip of the hand and they are gone. I
don't give a ratty puntia what people think about harnessing my children,
whatever works for you it should be your business, And if you decide not to get
the rabies shot until everything is done at once than that is your business
also. > Rose> > > -----Original Message-----> From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]> To:

had the pleasure of owning. I don't think however, it was fair for the groomer
to be cautious around him if she is working with other animals. Dogs spook over
things like that you know? If makes them weary. If Chaz had growled, or
attacked her beforehand, I would agree to the way she avoided him, I would even
say I understood it - but my dog doesn't look the least bit vicious at all, so
essentially it bothers me when people act like he is. That's ONE thing I've
made sure I broke him of, is being mean, or too rough, or biting.. I love him
to pieces, but I had a bad accident with dashaund and a pitbull, and it's made
me very weary of my dog, and the way people treat my dog.> > > > bumdick

have tried everything, I don't think she wasn't socialized properly... -- em
