I've used Soft Paws on one of my cats they are really easy to put on
and work really well. All you have to do is trim your cats nails have
someone hold him for you and put the glue in the cap and slide it over
his nails. Its just like putting on fake nails for people. They will
stay on for about 4 to 6 weeks and they are supposed to be really
comfortable, I guess they cant even tell they are wearing them. I never
had problems with mine trying to take them off or anything and he was a
real hellraiser. I would seriously suggest trying them out declawing
cats is horrible and very painful for them regardless if they are
older. To declaw a cat they remove the entire bone up to the joint and
it can get infected very easily. Please try out Soft Paws its an
inexpensive and humane alternative to declawing.
