husbands can be wonderful pets, but next time I'll be more careful in finding a
better breeder . I don't think Pete meets the standard LOL.
Just kidding, my hubbie is a good guy, but a guy nonetheless. Its all about
him, at least in his mind. He has me and three girls to deal with so we let
him have his little delusions.

too bad I don't have a hubby to train. Well, at least I think it is too
bad...maybe those of you with more hubby experience will advice me not to
acquire one? I hear they are messy, require lots of attention and are hard to
train??? Anyways, my chis do not speak on command...never thought of trying to
train that., I will be interested in hearing if you find something that works.
However, they do cry if anyone else does, lolMarsha ----- Original Message

I actually have a chi that is mixed with Jack Russell. My daughter gets
her to 'talk' and 'sing' but not really by training, just play. It is nice
to think husbands are trainable, though lol. I'll have to run out and by
hubbie treats. -------------- Original message --------------

Hi Everyone, I was wondering have any of you been sucessful at
teaching your small dog [especially Chihuahua or Jack Russell] to speak?
I have tried even had my husband to speak when I say speak and give
him a treat and the doggies still won't speak. What is a good way to train
a dog to speak. The food trick worked with my sheltie dog I use to have.
thanks in advance Donna
