Thanks everyone who answered on my Cherry Eye question. I also contacted my local vet and .. yes the doggy eye dogtor specialist. Very interesting comments. The Doggy eye dogtor specialist felt Cherry eye should be operated on after trying other treatments like drops. Both the vet and the doggy eye dogtor vet felt that the line should not be bred again...that it is a genetic disease and by not re- breeding the line you could help eradicate it from the breed.
