Aww. She partied too hard and was hung over! My cat and chichi do that double team trick. The cat will swat things off tables and counters and Pablo will eat them. I found a pearl ring my daughter had wrapped for a Christmas present in Pablo's crate. The box was ripped to shreds and the ring was mauled! Good thing I love them so much!! - em :-)

My Chi, Ava, decided to have a little party while I was away for the evening. My brother had sent me a huge box of Nerds candy (which I don't eat and had set on the counter out of reach) ... one of my cats must have knocked it down because upon returning home after being gone only about 4 hours I came home to find that Ava had eaten the ENTIRE box of candy. Not only that, but she had found an unopened package of Halls cough drops and devoured ALL of them. Poor little Ava! I came home to 3 pink stains on the carpet (I imagine she threw up the Nerds candy) and found a crusty piece of something matted in her fur on her elbow..... then when I found the shredded cough drop wrapper I figured out what was stuck to her fur. I could just picture little Ava on New Years... eating all kinds of sugar, running around the house like crazy, barking happy New Year at the cats.... then crashing and getting so sick. Poor baby! She threw up several times yesterday, but did keep some food down. She's back to her old self again today. I'm just thankful it wasn't any chocolate candy! I'm constantly reminded of a toddler when I look at my Chi. I hope you and your furkids had a nice New Years :) ~Christina (Atlanta)
