Lucky for me my car does not have side air bags that I am aware of. I do have one on the passage dashboard, That is why I want Roul in a car seat in the back seat. He won't be happy, but he will adjust. Barbara, RE: (if that air bag ever inflated it would not be pretty. Even with the 'car seats', if you have passenger side airbags or door air bags, an inflated air bag could be disaster. A lot of new vehicles have switches to disengage the passenger side air bags or 'weighted' switches that don't turn the bag on unless the passenger weighs enough. It would be worth looking into.
