Second I would like to say that as per my screen name yes, I like reptiles, but I Love all animals. (spiders only if they are outside) I recieved my lil gift (chi) 3 days ago and already I have a problem. I am not sure if this is a normal behavior for a 6 month old pup so i thought this may be one of the best places to come for answers. Let me start by telling you a lil bit about me and mine. I am a mother of 2 boys ages 14 and 7, a wife of wonderful hubby. I am a disabled (server panic disorder), domestic engineer. I have wanted a lil chi for many years and finally got my wish. Now here's my problem: my chi is 6 months old and so clingy I can't move without him right there under my feet. When I sit on couch he tries to crawl up under me and doesnt want to move. The kids are very gentle and try whenever they can to love on him, but all he does is cower away from them and look at me as if to say "please help me mommy." Even my hubby tries to hold him and all he does is stare at me and want to come back to me. He even whimpers and whines in my hubby's arms as he stares at me. He has growled at my 7 year old a couple of times but as soon as I snap my fingers a couple of times and say STOP he stops. He won't even go eat unless I stand right next to the bowl. If I move one foot, he stops and is under foot again. And on top of all this, his breath is so sickining and he has gas that could clear a room. He is a sweetheart and lover (toward me) and he has never gone to the bathroom in my home. Which is a BIG plus for me. He has a vet appt. tomorrow for all his shots, worming and checkup and we are signed up for puppy training classes to start next week. Until I get to training...How do I unhook him from my hip? Oh, his name is "Domino" Thank you in advance for any advice anyone can give. Jen
