As mentioned by previous posters Some dogs take a while to settle in. 
With Robin well I already had Connie (since dec) and so he didnt feel 
that need to bark or to check out the perimeters for bad people and 
monsters. She did it all and all too well. Yet Connie herself was very 
quiet and polite out of the house but to her this was her castle. So 
Robin never said Bo! to a Goose. Well after her death he took the bull 
by the horns and showed the world who was in charge with his husky 
little mans voice. Now I have Salome she likes to talk and so he 
speaks still, but for shorter bursts (except in holiday season-which 
is now as the neighbourhood holiday makers bring their dogs and tire 
my little lambies out lol) So give her time and dont think the worse 
as someone else has already said the next post of yours might be to 
ask us how to shhhh! your beloved Cheers Furdion
