Blue will be seen in some merles because the merle gene is actually a blue dilute. Some with black masking will show black nose/eyes. this is acceptable because the masking is considered part of the coat color. But bottom line, if the eyes and nose do not match any of the coat, then it is not to AKC standards. Of course, unless you plan to breed or show...who gives a crap what color they are ???lol. They are still adorable chis!!!
