Hi all, Barry, my Chi Max is 18 months old. He also plays a lot with the mouses my cats play with, although he doesn't play together with the cats (yet). He is now here for 2 months and with one cat he has an agreement, the cat is larger and showed him who is the alpha-pet, so he respects him. The other cat is always very shy and stayes upstairs for most of the day and doesn't come into the living when Max is there. Lovely photo you have sent. Venus, I love the photo of the puppy. I got Max when he was full grown and have never seen Chi puppys before, other then on photos. Rose, nice photos of Rosie and Cocoa. I should try to make photos when Max is asleep, when he sees me with my camera, he wants to play and sticks his nose into the lense. Furdion, I've found photos of the Australian Shepherd, I don't think I have ever seen one for real. But that is the part of not living in the US, and in my case not knowing the english names for a lot of animals and other things. jamj7878, call the vet for an appointment. Marsha, can't (s)he have hurt his feet in the crate? Dasha, I'm always trying to control Max. He tried even to jump from the backside of the couch to the floor, which is about 1 meter high... He must think he is a cat too, for they do that all the time, but Max shouldn't. The trainer should think about the hight of your Chi considering the other dogs, he can't do the same. Marsha, I don't wear fur either. Whenever someone wears artificial fur, I always thinks of what my son would say: "They killed a teddybear for that!" LOL Lin, keep us posted please! Max is learning to walk free for the last part of our walk and he goes straight to the frontdoor, watching where I am when I am not fast enough. I can imagine how you feel. Does your Chihuahua wear a nametag? I will buy one for Max asap, I don't want him to get lost!!!
