  Thank you for the clarity I needed. I just want to do the right thing by him. 
I have been successfully finding my "alpha-ness" for all the veterinary issues, 
and this should be no different. I'll be sad to walk away as he loves lots of 
parts of it, but your right- he was scared out of his mind and dragging him by 
the harness with him not even placing his rear legs down could have hurt one of 
his legs and it was not making him "walk" the obstacle. I'll see if we can sit 
out some obstacles or work on them after slowly.
  If not the only thing that trainer will see of this alpha is my tail-lights.
