I understand all too well. I had a simular experience when my son put
the left over milk, from his cereal, down on the floor for the cats, and
my Minnie got it. I'll give her little bits of cheese when I am eating
cheese, but never again does she get milk! It's a hard way to find out
they can't have it, but they r worth it. :-) I'm glad u heard her and
got her cleaned up before she could get chilled. I give my girls Doggy
Jerky, but I have to break it into small pieces so Minnie doesn't choke
on them. Lacie, my older girl will chew them ok, but Minnie tries to
wolf them down. So tell hubby to be careful with size of the treats :-)

/After talking to hubby this morning I discovered that HE gave her cow
milk because she was sucking his fingers!!!!! I explained to him
that dogs do not drink cow milk and some are lactose intolerant, my
poor Fiona! Hubby is spoiling her a lot, he usually gives Morroka a
slice of cheese everynight, which she loves and it's not a problem to
her but Fiona is another story. He asked me where could he buy pup
treats so he could give treat her at night too!!!!! /
