When my children were babies I loved and protected them by putting them
in a crib to sleep, and a playpen to play. When my Minnie was 10 weeks
old she slept in her crate to keep her from falling out of my bed, which
she did the second night she slept with me. As she got older and smarter
she was allowed to sleep with me. When we go bye-bye she goes in her
crate, where she feels safe. I have tried letting her ride next to me in
the seat but she shakes the whole time and almost throws up. On the rare
occasions that I go to town without her she stays in her crate, where
she is safe. I don't need her getting into a fight with my 18 yr old cat
that out weighs her by about 8 lbs. Sometimes love also means
protecting. Young chi's are like having babies going thru the terrible 2's.
