I remember when neutering two males. The first
male leaned against me for a solid day and night
when he came home and would not sit or lay down.
The second male had the surgery, came home, and no
one would have known what had occurred. Both had
the same surgery, same vet, at the same age.
Let's face it, one guy was a wuss and the other
had a high pain threshold <smile>.
But I would call the vet to reassure myself.
