He began urinating again this morning and he is putting weight on his sore foot. I took him back to the vet for a checkup this morning and to let her know again how unhappy I was that they had removed his front dew claw instead of the small detached extra nail on his hind foot. She was apologetic but said that since they didn't see that small nail they removed his only real dew claw--the front one. I feel very sad that he had to go through that painful procedure and recovery. In retrospect I would take red nail polish and paint the nail I wanted removed. Needless to say I am looking for a new vet. Jean and Teddy
