Hi Mike,
I have a chi that I adopted at about 15 months and he refuses to have anything
to do with
the wee pads. I think that the older they are the more resistent they become.
Have you
taken him to the vet? Maybe there's something medically wrong that is causing
this? I
would also suggest contacting a trainer...I would ask them how they propose to
solve the
problem and see what they say.
WHen you take him out of the crate do you carry him to the appropriate place to
go? Do
you say good pottie while he's peeing/pooping and give him a treat when he
finishes and
say good boy, good pottie? If you tell us what you have tried (beyond crating
and keeping
him on hard surfaces we might be able to offer additional help.
I would also suggest going to a bookstore and looking through some books about
dogs
and there might be some addtional advice that helps.--- In
