Gosh! I have never thought of a dog using the litter box. That would
be convenient. When I had dwarf rabbits( one at a time) I house
trained them so they went outside in a litter box. But it was a large
cage that had a mesh bottom with cedar chips underneath. All of them
would have total use of my entire home with no problems at all. Of
course I only had one rabbit at a time. I don't think I would want
more than one at once.
And the kitty litter that they have these days is great. It has been
years since I had a cat and my husband and I just adopted a stray that
was hanging around. When we bought litter I was pleasantly surprised
at how nice it was and how well it worked. The last time I had used
kitty litter was about 1976. It's come a l-o-n-g way since then.
Anyway good luck to all those litter training their pups. Great idea.
