Max is searching for the cat litter too. The kitchen, where the litter box is,
is now forbidden for him, but he manages to get there anyhow. I told him today
again firmly that it was a no-no, but 10 minutes later...

It might take more effort then raizing my children. :-)))

My shepard/collie mix would eat her poo and the vet told me to give her a
teaspoon or tablespoon with her food. There's something in it that makes them
not want to eat it. That might work for you also.
Take care

I wouldnt worry about it. It may be disgusting to you but obviously the
dog doesnt think so. If your Chi has a vitamin/mineral deficiancy get a
suppliment (bird poo is phosperous)and maybe the poo eating will stop.
I have a problem with cat poo but my vet says it will do them no harm
and if I dont like it to use Cayenne pepper (maybe you could try that).
In my case though they are at the cat litter before I can get there.
though Robin has sorta grown out of it and now it is mainly Salome. So
again maybe your dog will grow out of it. Dont forget that when animals
catch wild game most things get chewed up and eaten and they enjoy it
even if you go Urrrrgggk! Blessings Furdion
