1) I think lots of people on here have dogs other than chi's even, so that idea
seems silly
2) Have you tried bully sticks (they're steer dry penises-sounds gross but they
like it (usually)and its natural and loks like a skinny rawhide
3) other members need to address the agression issues as I am lucky in this
area but when he was little (2 1/2 months) a vet told me he was going to be
possessive and agressive like your dog as I was allowing him to be?! This was
confusing to me as all I wanted to do was love him but I may have nipped it in
the bud by taking him to puppy school (where he got to socailize with other
dogs and people petting him and my petting other dogs. It was not easy until I
got him used to it and now he's fine in those departments. My vet (and folks on
here) warned me of "alpha" behavior and it seemed when we made it clear who was
the leader things changed (but not without a little fuss from my "big" man)
