not all dogs have dew claws. Also, many may have already had them removed. Dew claws are simply that extra nail you find on the side of some dogs feet...will be on the inside.....some dogs have them on both back and front legs, some just on the back and some just on the front. Kinda like human thumbs. There is nothing wrong with your chi if he or she does not have dewclaws :-) Marsha
