Thank you all for your advice, and thank you for pointing out the
dangers of motor oil. Unfortunately there are a lot of people out
there that do not attempt to learn about their pets, and that is how
we end up with dead animals and so many strays that end up in
shelters. I have done my best to learn everything I can about each
individual animal that I own prior to purchasing. It can be something
as simple as a houseplant being deadly when eaten to an old wives tale
that has been discovered to cause more harm than good. We can only
hope that people will do the best they can to learn as much about
their pets as possible so that these problems can be avoided in the
future.
As for my problem, my vet has put her on an antibiotic regimen, and
has high hopes for her recovery. Again, thank you all for you comments
and advice, I really appreciate it.
