I am not sure about the Chihuahua Rescue and Transport, which is the only big Chi rescue I know of. Have you asked them if you can volunteer? Usually, if you are going to be a foster mom, they will send someone out to do a home check on your home. As long as you are caring for your own dogs, it should not matter if you breed or not. As long as you are a responsible breeder. But, every rescue is different. Like you were saying, we should get interested Chi people together to start our own rescue/transport!
