My friend Pepe, who is a chi, has a bald spot on the top of his head too. He has had his since he was a puppy.. The vet asked me about it on our first visit, but since it had been there as long as we could remember, he didn't seem concerned. He said that somethimes Chis have small bald spots in boney prominences, like the forehead. Don't know if this helps, but I thought I'd offer my experience. Hope you find out. It can be very stressful to not know if somehting is wrong with your chi friend. Theresa
