Hi,
I am new to this breed, but I have been reading a lot about them. I am
considering getting a long-haired Chihuahua, but wanted to ask some
questions first.
1. Has anyone litter box trained their Chihuahua? S
2. Do they have separation anxiety?
3. How much do they bark?
4. Do they have a distinctive doggie odor?
5. Do they get along with cats?
Also, my parents were concerned that when we take it for a walk it
could bring something inside and make our cats sick. Is this a problem
to worry about?

1. No, I have litter box trained but plan to.
2. Some do, some don't. Mine doesen't but does require more attention than
the
average dog. My boyfriend said it's because he was the runt of the litter.
3. Mine barks at people and animals he doesn't like. He also barks of
course when
somone knocks on the door.
4. Mines doesn't seem to have a doggy odor.
5. Don't know about the cat thing, we don't have a cat.
