I have had every kind of dog imaginable, but chis are the breed that has captured my heart. I have an Italian greyhound and she sure is different from the chis! lol. But we love them all the same. We're thinking about adding a Chihuahua to our family, not right away... we'll wait for our 12 year old 3 legged greyhound to pass away first. We also have a Boston terrier (M), Manchester terrier (F), and miniature poodle (M), all in the 7-10 year range, all altered. Oh, and a 13 year old daughter. :-) I founded and ran a greyhound rescue for 4 years, got very burned out and retired, but the group went on, rehoming somewhere around 1000 dogs total. Since then my family reached out to foster other breeds, also boarding dogs in our home. As our greyhounds, whippet and saluki passed away, we have downsized our personal pets and are becomming more and more interested in the toy breeds.
