I feed mine nutro. It's about 20 dollars for a big bag at petsmart. It's not
the real expensive kind but it has no meat by products, corn or wheat. Betty

Yes....that is what I do also.....my 4 lb chi, Penny gets about 1
teaspoon Mighty Dog, mixed with her Purinia Puppy Chow sm bites, and my 8 lb
chi, Minnie, gets about 1 tablespoon Mighty Dog, mixed with her Kibbles &
Bits sm bites. They each get 1 handfull of dry mixed with the Mighty Dog, 2
times a day. My 18 lb chi, Lacie gets the remainder of the can, small cans,
and Kibbles & Bits. Penny is 6 mts old, Minnie is 1 1/2 yrs. old and Lacy is
about 10 yrs old. I'd like to put them all on natural dog food, but the
price of it is real high. If anyone knows of a moderatly priced natural dry
dog food could u please let me know. I have heard of some people making
their dog food. Like chicken, and rice, with cottage cheese etc. Do any of u
do this? If u do could u give us ur recipe please? I give my girls a
scrambled egg every once in a while because I heard it is good for their
coat.

welcome to the group! All of my chis eat dry food, but I do add a little
wet food into it for flavor...just enough to coat the dry.
