If I can make a suggestion, I've got a file in the files section of the 
group's homepage called "Dealing with hostile.txt" which is a collection of 
training techniques for hostile/fearful dogs, just exactly meant for this 
sort of situation.  You'll need to recruit some men who are willing to 
patiently work with your chi in the ways suggested over a period of time in 
a nonthreatening way.  Read the file, let me know if I can give you any 
further help.  These techniques were taught to me by the marvelous, 
miraculous trainer who worked with my own very shy little Luna.
