Mine go crazy over a big toad that lives in the backyard and generally has
babies yearly. Angel can spend a lot of time barking and it holds real still.
I can rarely even see it. If she touches it at all, she nudges it and it
doesn't move but she does get excited over it.

At least spring is here, finally warmed up for 3 days now!

Yippee!

It probably is. When I took Bogie out last night before bed, there was this
big old bullfrog out there. Bogie sniffed but the frog sensed danger and was
real still and continued to be real still while Bogie hiked his leg and marked
him. Somewhere there is a frog that smells like our dog.

My mom's male bull terrier does this to her female bull terrier. Both are
fixed. My mom says he also pees on her poo. I was thinking maybe it's a
territorial thing? Like, if he eats her "markings" then he can even more so
claim the yard as his territory. Just a thought.
