I was told not to give them shots with lepto but its up to your vet the lady we got are Hooper and chulo from gave them both shots with out lepto

The breeder that I got him from said that they are prone to reactions from this shot. To protect him from devistating harm, I am going to go ahead and vaccinate. My question is, which distemper shot is safest for chi's? I was told to avoid the shot with lepto but when I made the appointment with my vet, they said they have never had a problem with giving the shot with lepto to the small breeds.
