I've been home cooking for a long, long time and it couldn't be
easier. It's even the same price, sometimes cheaper, than a high
quality commercial dog food. It takes me about 1/2 hour once or
twice a month - not a bit deal at all. My dogs absolutely love it.
Also, I do rescue so I have an endless stream of little ones coming
through my house. I've never had a dog that doesn't like it.

I get a dry base called Urban Wolf. Contains no grain of any kind. I
order it from www.doggiefood.com. It costs about 32.00 for a 4 pound
bag - however that bag lasts for months. Here's the "recipe"...

2 cups Urban Wolf
2 pounds ground meat (cooked or raw)
1/4 cup sunflower or safflower oil
2 tablespoons salmon oil

That's it. Like I said, couldn't be easier. I usually double the
recipe and freeze.

You can throw in a spoonful of cottage cheese fresh vegetables or
whatever with each meal if you want.

This cleared up my little Cleo's allergies almost immediately. My
vet is very, very pleased with the food and now recommends it to
other clients.
