Bogie won't eat rice but our other dog does. I boil chicken, ground beef etc. Bogie only eats a little at a time so it last a long time. I boil a chicken, use the broth for rice and veggies like carrots, celery etc. Bogie picks out the meat. Crazy dog. We buy the chicken leg quarters at Wal Mart. A 10 pound bag for about 4.80 last a good while. I cook enough for a week and freeze the rest, or I cook it all up and then freeze in zip lock bags and use when needed. Sheila
