most dogs have not dropped by this age....why do such an extreme surgery when a little time would allow for a much simpler one? When both have dropped, it is a matter of snip and clip. When they haven't, it requires the vet to make an incision into the stomach and go inside the pup to remove everything.....more dangerous. more complicated and more pain.
